Tara Town is currently recruiting participants for a monitor tour designed to discover and share the town’s unique charm from an international visitor’s perspective.

Participation Requirements

Participation Conditions

・Each group must consist of 1 to 4 people, with a total of 10 participants being recruited.

・Applicants must be able to speak English.

・Participants should be non-Japanese nationals or born outside of Japan, and able to offer insights and advice from a foreign perspective.

・The monitor tour will be conducted between September 2023 and January 2024, as a one-day (day trip) program. However, participants may choose to stay overnight at their own expense.

・An interpreter/attendant will accompany the group throughout the tour.

・Transportation costs to and from Tara Town will be borne by the participants.

・Within Tara Town, participants will visit designated sightseeing spots and take part in hands-on experiences. Specific activities will be decided in consultation with the organizing office in advance.

・Planned activities include experiences such as sausage-making and tasting juice made from local specialty oranges.

・In addition to the activities, participants will also be asked to explore the town and provide comments on what aspects are appealing from a foreign visitor’s point of view.

・Two promotional videos will be produced as part of the monitor tour. Applicants with video production skills may be given priority for selection.
